Illinois Hunting

These deer were all killed by the guy I hunted with in Pike Co. Illinois.  I think all but one of these were killed in Illinois.  There is another wall of mounts and you will notice the cedar pole on the left side of the picture, with several unmounted horns.  There is another pole just like that one with another group of unmounted horns.  There are also several unmounted horns laying on the foor.

This picture is from my video camera, so the quality is not good, but you can see that this is a nice buck.  He had eight good times and an eight inch drop tine.

I drew back on him at 12 yards, but let him walk, because there was a bigger one behind him and it was first morning to hunt Pike County. (Yes, I should have taken him.)

I saw 40 bucks in five days.  It was incredible!!!!
